Ive seen so many people say you never get jobs from indeed. Im trying to find a job as Im a student and literally cannot afford to live, but every job has 400+ applicants and my application is never even.
Ive seen so many complaints about it. I made an Indeed account over a year ago, but have hardly used it since then as I will instead use LinkedIn or just go directly to company websites to find.

Well indeed is not doing a very good job of vetting/verifying the companies that are posting on their platform. Indeed is not the scammer, but they are the conduit to the scammer. In my opinion they are.
Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings,.
